Small break from commission work to do some Borderlands 2 fanart because this game will be the death of me and I ship everything.

But mostly Maya and Zer0. Somehow this got really dark though. Oops. I don't really imagine their relationship this dark. I think they would do pretty well. Maybe SLIGHTLY dysfunctional. The thing about Zer0 is that at times he can be really serious and almost scary with his uh.. volatile tendencies but then he says completely ridiculous things that make taking him seriously impossible. Not to mention those adorable emoticons that appear in front of his helmet. He's a weird, unpredictable dude. But I don't think he's completely devoid of emotion.

Anyway tl;dr I have no idea what their relationship would be like. Zer0 is a weirdo and Maya is adorable the end.

Also heavily ref'd Maya's pose but I can't for the life of me remember where the ref photo came from, whoops. If anyone recognizes this let me know.

This is so great oh my god.

I started shipping these two when I noticed when my boyfriend would heal me in the game, a heart would show over his helmet (with me playing as Maya of course). IT'S SO ADORABLE.

But anyway, back to art, this is incredible, I love your style ; w;
